Calhoun, KY August 2004 - The Public Sphere Information Group is working in McLean County, Kentucky to develop an e-Government business plan for the county. The PSI Group teamed with the Center for Information Technology Enterprise (CiTE) in Bowling Green to develop the plan.
The outcome of this e-government strategic plan will be to identify a technology blueprint for applications that can provide tangible value to rural local governments, enhance services to constituents, and create incentive to rural broadband development. The plan will include a near-term and long-term implementation plan for these applications. As conceived, the plan is intended to serve as a blueprint for "demand side" planning for broadband deployment as a part of the State's Rural Broadband Initiative.
