In recent years, the PSI Group has specifically focused on benchmarking web-based application development by local, county and regional governments across the United States. Indeed, this approach has been and is being used (and modified) to benchmark governments across the globe. As it relates to the overall development, sophistication, and preparedness to compete of regions governments are, of course, only one among many sectors that need to be assessed. For this reason, the PSI Group is currently developing its measures that have been applied to governments alone to provide overall IT Assessments of regions.

This IT Assessment Project (ITAP) will begin reporting results in the coming months. Look to this space for comprehensive results.
